Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius |
Line a baking tray with baking parchment |
Cut 150 grams mozzarella into thin slices |
Add 2 decilitres whole milk, 2 eggs and 1 pinch of salt into a medium-sized bowl and mix them well |
Cut 320 grams stale bread into slices of around 1 cm thickness and lay them out on the baking tray |
Pour the milk eggs mixture over the bread slices and let the bread soak in the liquid for about 1 minute |
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon dried oregano over the slices and bake them in the pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes |
Take the baking tray out of the oven, equally distribute 150 millilitres tomato sauce and the mozzarella slices on the bread and bake the pizza slices for another 7 minutes |
Take the finished pizza slices out of the oven and serve them on plates |
