Instructions
Add 1 bag Backmischung ‘Bierbrot’ MANUFAKTUR TOBLER, 3.3 decilitres pale lager, 1 teaspoon honey and 175 millilitres water to a large bowl and work it into a smooth dough |
Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rise during 45 minutes |
Take the dough out of the bowl and briefly knead it |
Add the dough back into the bowl and let it rise for another 10 minutes |
Form the dough into a round loaf, sprinkle the surface with 1 teaspoon wheat flour and let it rest for another 30 minutes |
Score an around 2 cm deep circle into the loaf, starting around 3 cm from the edge (when looking at it from the top) |
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius |
Bake the beer bread in the pre-heated oven at 220 degrees Celsius for about 35 minutes |
