The ideal storage temperature for tomatoes is 12 to 16 degrees Celsius. When they are stored in the fridge, the cold temperatures stop the ripening process. This is great to keep ripe tomatoes a bit longer but has some impact on the taste. If you have unripe tomatoes, store them in a warm place with direct sunlight to ripen them.

Instructions
Wash 2 fresh tomatoes, cut them into cubes of around 1 cm and add to a large bowl |
Wash 2 peppers, cut them into pieces of around 1 cm and add to the bowl |
Wash 1 cucumber, cut into pieces of around 1 cm and add to the bowl |
Season the salad with 0.5 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon dried oregano and drizzle with 3 tablespoons sunflower oil |
Toss the salad until everything is coated with oil and crumble 100 grams feta over it |
Let the salad chill in the fridge for about 10 minutes before serving |
